For grumpy, overworked times...

By Cinda Voegtli

Something i like to remind myself of when extreme grumpiness hits -  which it does sometimes, because there IS usually an insane amount of stuff to get done, sprinkled with pesky issues, conflicts, changes  ... :-)

Happiness is an attitude.  We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong.  The amount of work is the same...    Francesca Reigler.

That quote sent my grumpiness sky high

Hi - and sorry! I did not mean for that to be the result.

This is something I've actually had to work on personally for a long time. I mostly just want to FIX whatever it is that is causing the insanity. For my own sanity though I've mostly gotten now to the point that I can usually, or at least often, get myself to step back and detach from the grumpiness (or even fury, angst, rebellion, or whatever :-)

Seriously, this is also NOT meant to imply that we are supposed to just take the insanity, not try to do anything about whatever unreasonable stuff is causing our grumpiness. I've just tried to get better at not killing all my own energy experiencing my own grumpiness :-)

I'm sorry I caused the opposite reaction in you...

Thank you! I needed that. I tend to get caught up in the madness and lose my sense of humor. I'm sure the people around me would MUCH rather I use my energy more wisely!
